GEMSTONE & NATURAL STONE PROTOCOL
Protocol Effective Date: April 11, 2026
Chromatic Fidelity & Optical Limitations
Capturing the internal "Fire" and pleochroism of rare specimens—specifically Padparadscha Sapphires and Investment-Grade Tanzanite—presents a significant technical challenge.
-
Digital Variance: While the Archive utilizes high-fidelity macro-photography, the visual output is subject to the lighting temperature of the capture environment and the technical calibration of the viewing hardware.
-
Character Representation: Digital images are provided as a forensic guide to the specimen's character and inclusion pattern; they are not an absolute chromatic substitute for physical inspection.
Composition, Provenance, & Geologic Variance
All specimens curated by Kaufman & Kaufman, LLC. are natural in composition unless explicitly documented as a synthetic or enhanced variant.
-
Geologic Signature: The inherent variance in mineral saturation, crystalline veining, and structural "silk" is the unique signature of an Earth-mined asset. No two specimens are identical.
-
Acknowledgment of Rarity: The acquisition of a Kaufman & Kaufman asset implies a formal acknowledgment that natural stones possess structural and aesthetic variations that distinguish them from digital previews.
Logistics: The Asset Verification Service
For high-density gemstone investments, the Firm provides a Principal Concierge Service that facilitates secure, in-person delivery and private inspection under controlled lighting.
-
Asset Re-entry Protocol: For standard returns, a 15% Forensic Re-entry Fee is mandated. This fee covers the cost of professional re-certification, gemological testing to ensure the specimen has not been substituted or altered, and secure vault processing.
-
Inquiries: Direct logistics requests to the private archive: r.kaufman@kaufmanandkaufman.com.
